Creating a Masterpiece… 2013
Save the Date
As I prepare for another
BOLT I am reflecting on last
years’ “Kings, Queens, Bishops &
BOLT” and, am so thankful for
our huge success- we had one of
our best years. A milestone was
past with last year’s event-in
the past 27 years we have raised
over 4 million dollars for Pius.
We are Blessed and humbled by
all of your support.
Last years’ BOLT event
helped us give $242,000.00 to
Pius X. The revenue raised goes
for capital improvements and the
Booster Club. $162,000.00 went
to help reduce the debt on the
kitchen and $80,000 went to the
Booster Club for all their
activities and needs. Our
students are enjoying the great
meals they can get every day
from our kitchen. Our funds for
this year will continue to go
towards retiring the kitchen
debt.
We realize in our economy we
are thinking twice about where
our funds are going-please know
that we at Pius X do not take
your generosity lightly. We
could not make the improvements
at Pius X without your support.
On
Saturday April 20, 2013,
Pius X High School is hosting
the
28th
annual BOLT benefit dinner, with
live and silent auctions.
We are excited to announce
the theme for this spring's
gala, "BOLT Creating a
Masterpiece”. Our
gifted volunteers are sketching
out inspired ideas and preparing
our paint palettes to make it an
evening to remember. We have
wonderful auction items as well
as the famous lottery, with cash
prizes totaling $15,000. We are
sure you will not want to miss
the party.
As Executive Director of BOLT, I have the
privilege of hearing all of the
great comments about the success
of BOLT, but I remind everyone
that Bolt
is so wonderful, because of all the parents and students who
volunteer for committees and who
bought or sold lottery tickets
and all our guests who attend.
You are our treasures-we could not have done it without you!
I also wish to thank all our
donors, and corporate sponsors,
our auction is one of the best
because of your generous
support.
