Kings, Queens, Bishops…BOLT
I
am sitting at my desk
remembering back to last years’
BOLT-“Down the Nile” and I am
humbled-it was such a great
triumph! Because of your support
we had a great year. We realize
in our economy we are all
thinking twice about where our
funds are going-please know that
we at Pius X do not take your
generosity lightly. We could not
make the improvements at Pius X
without your support.
Last years’ BOLT event helped us
give
$197,500.00 to Pius X. The
revenue raised goes for capital
improvements and Booster Club.
$131,500.00(2/3) went to help
pay on our new kitchen the other
$66,000.00 (1/3) went to the
Booster Club for all their
activities and needs. When you
walk in our commons at school
you will notice the fabulous new
kitchen! Our funds for this year
will continue to pay for the
kitchen.
As
Executive Director of BOLT, I am
privileged to hear all the great
comments about the success of
BOLT, but I remind everyone that
it
is so wonderful, because
of all the parents and students
who volunteered for committees
and who bought or sold lottery
tickets and all our guests who
attend BOLT:
You are our treasures-we
could not have done it without
you! I also want to
thank all our donors,-our
auction is one of the best
because of your generous
support. You make our “event” a
success!
We are excited to announce the
theme for this spring's gala,
"Kings, Queens, Bishops...BOLT". As we set out the game board
and prepare to place all the
pieces we invite you to join us!
