Parents and Students,

Each week I will update my web page and sometimes additions will be made during the week. The purpose of this page is to give you an idea of what we are working on during the week and what the students should have for homework. There are days when they will not have to turn work into me, but they will be told that they need to review notes and study guides. If you have any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. You will have the most luck reaching me during the times listed below. Parent Connect is a great source for monitoring your child’s grades. Please call me if you have questions about it, or you are unable to use it.

Week of October 10^th

Students will need to finish reading the story “Blues Ain’t No Mockingbird” for Tuesday. The final copies of the persuasive essay are also due on Tuesday. Students should begin reviewing for the short story unit test which might be on Friday the 14^th. Students can start by reviewing the stories, the authors, author information and their short story entries.
