Immaculee Ilibagiza Weekend of Healing and Hope

Immaculee Ilibagiza is returning to Pius X High School for a two-day retreat on November 11th and 12th.  Immaculee survived the 1994 Rwandan genocide by hiding in a small bathroom with seven other women for 91 days.  It was her faith in God and devotion to Mary that sustained her through this time.  When she finally emerged, she learned that all of her family except one brother had been brutally murdered.  Her faith gave her the love to forgive the man who killed her mother and brother.  She is the author of several best-selling books, including Left to Tell and Led by Faith.  She is an international speaker who spreads a message of healing and hope through forgiveness and praying the rosary.  The retreat will run from 6 – 9 p.m. on Friday night and 9 – 4 p.m. on Saturday.  There will be an optional Mass at 4 p.m. to end the day.  Early registration is $60; for students it is $50.  Hurry, because seating is limited!  Register online at http://www.immaculee.biz/Weekend-with-Immaculee-Lincoln-NE.html or direct questions to Tom Korta (402-432-8567).
