Tryouts
for the Junior American Legion baseball team(Sandhills Publishing), and for the 9th grade
freshman team will be next Friday and Saturday (16th and 17th).
Friday will be at 4. Saturday will be at 11am.

AVAILABLE Drivers Ed will be offered at Pius starting June16-27, 7:30 am.
– 10:00 a.m. with drive times to be scheduled after 10:00 a.m. cost will be
$255.

Chapter 0015 is sponsoring a $500 teaching scholarship. Any senior who is planning to major in
the teaching profession is eligible to apply. Application forms are available in the
guidance office and the deadline to apply is May 21.

Knights of Columbus – Fitzgerald
Council 833 is sponsoring a $1,000 scholarship. All seniors are eligible to apply,
however, preference will be given to a student planning attend a Catholic
college. Application forms are

UNIFORMS AT PIUS X FOR 2008-09 SCHOOL YEAR -
We have changed our uniform
supplier to Dennis Uniform. We
have new shorts & pants available in the uniform shop to
purchase. The girl’s shorts and pants are a different than what has been previously worn. They are a more comfortable style
and the boy’s shorts are longer! We have also ordered a longer
length of the banded polos. Put in your order soon if you prefer the long
length. We are able to offer the polos,
shorts & pants at a lower price if purchased through Pius. You
are welcome to order via the internet or go to Dennis Uniform but you will have to pay full price.
Classes 2009, 2010 & 2011 can
wear their current uniforms until they graduate.
The uniform shop will be open from
10-12 the following Saturdays: May 3, 10 & 17. It will also be
open the following Tuesdays & Thursdays after school until 4:00:
May 6, 8, 13, 15 & 20th. MAY 20 IS THE LAST DAY TO
ORDER TO INSURE DELIVERY BEFORE THE START OF SCHOOL.
