On behalf of
Pius X High School, Fr. Liam Barr presented the First Annual Distinguished
Stewardship
Award to Keith
and Pat May at the A Tradition of Faith celebration on Aug. 16. Nominations
were sought earlier this past year for individuals who have demonstrated
exemplary service to Pius X High School, been role models within the
community,
are leaders in fulfilling our mission to “Restore All Things in Christ” and
who share their gifts of time, talent and treasure with Pius X.
Keith
and Pat have both been longtime volunteers for both Pius X High School
and for their parish, the Cathedral of the Risen Christ.
The Mays
are both 1966 graduates of Pius X. All four of their children, Jennifer,
Laura, Aaron and Caitlin, also graduated from Pius X. Keith has been
a Pius X board member since 1982, and has served as parish chairperson
of the “Continuing the Commitment” campaign. Keith and Pat
were board chairs of the “Embrace the Future” campaign,
and have both served on the BOLT committee throughout the years.
Beyond
the Pius X community, Keith and Pat served as chair couple of the 1999
diocesan “Crossing the Threshold” campaign,
and are both members of the Catholic business organization, Legatus.
Keith
is also a long time member of the Lincoln Serra Club, and past member
of the Diocesan Foundation Board. Congratulations Keith and Pat!
