For those that have been at Pius X for more than one year, some of the Pius X alums have continued their volleyball careers at the collegiate level.
Congrats to all of these young women as they continue their academic and athletic careers beyond the walls of Pius X High School

Class of 2004
Andra Rasby
was a senior defensive specialist on the Florida International University women’s volleyball team. The finished their season in the semi-finals of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament with a 19-8 record.

Class of 2005

Gabi Jarchow was a junior defensive specialist this year for the University of South Dakota. The Coyotes qualified for the NCAA Division II Tournament and finished with the best record in school history for volleyball with a final record of 23-9.

Jayme White was a starter as a defensive specialist for Nebraska Wesleyan University Prairie Wolves volleyball team. They again qualified for the NCAA Division III National Tournament; however, they were defeated in the first round by Puget Sound University. They finished with a 17-12 record.

Nikki Morrison and her Washington University in St. Louis volleyball team had another outstanding season. The Bears finished the year as the NCAA Division III National Champions. By virtue of her outstanding play, Nikki was named as an American Volleyball Coaches Association 1st Team All-American. This places her into the top 12 NCAA Division III volleyball players in the nation. Wash U. finished with a 33-5 record.

 

Class of 2006

Pam Jarrett just finished her second season at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County. Pam was a starting defensive specialist/libero for the Retrievers. UMBC finished the season with a 20-12 record, the most wins for their volleyball team since 1998.

Class of 2007

Alexis Edwards was an outside hitter and defensive specialist for Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. The Tigers finished the fall season with a 35-3 record, and just fell short of reaching the NCAA Division III Elite Eight.

Kelly Schinkel was a right side hitter for the Hastings College Bronco Volleyball team this fall. Her season was cut short by shoulder surgery during the last half of the season.
