Feast of Saint Jerome

The Scriptures are shallow enough for a babe to come and drink without fear of drowning and deep enough for theologians to swim in without ever reaching the bottom.  – Saint Jerome

St. Jerome is best remembered for his revision of Latin translations of the Gospels and Psalms and translation of the Old Testament into Latin from Hebrew and Greek. We can honor his feast day today by reading scripture.  Saint Jerome, Patron Saint of Libraries, Pray For Us!
