A MOVIE is the winner of March Book Madness 2022: Books vs. Movies

If there is any consolation in a movie winning popularity contest between books and movies it’s that William Goldman, the author of The Princess Bride, also wrote the screenplay based on the novel and described the screenplay as “my favorite thing I’ve ever written in my life.”    Goldman himself would probably have voted for the movie over the book.
