Stadium Productions
Live Stream
Students in the Stadium Productions Club can stream home varsity sporting events using a HUDL camera and Production Truck, as well as external audio (play-by-play announcer) and an external camera.
The streams are aired via the school’s YouTube channel and HUDL TV website. Students can work behind the scenes deploying replays, graphics, selecting camera shots, and more, or run a camera.
Students can also be the play-by-play announcer. Prior practice is required. Any interested student can learn more by contact Mr. Baehr at zachary.baehr@piusx.net.
Scoreboard Entertainment
While adults keep the score and run the clock, students add to the event by showcasing prepared images, graphics and videos throughout the game as part of the Stadium Productions Club.
Using ScoreVision, entertainment options range from simple graphics featuring individual players, to our popular ‘Where’s Theo?’ guessing game, to hype videos.
During football games in our stadium, students are also helping with music and lights (which can go dark, flash or change colors). Students also work in tandem with our public address announcer to time-up scheduled entertainment at game breaks.
Any interested student can learn more by contact Mr. Baehr at zachary.baehr@piusx.net. Training is provided. Some students can learn in a less stressful environment, primarily at non-varsity games.
