Lincoln Pius X Catholic High School

Alumni join students for Lion Dance performance

We were blessed to have several alumni (along with current students) with us today for a special performance after our All School Epiphany Mass to start the second semester.

The DMNV Lion Dance Team is based out of the Immaculate Heart of Mary parish here in Lincoln, NE. Many of the dancers are current Pius X students, as well as alumni. Lion dance is a traditional dance performed in a lion costume, usually done during the Lunar New Year. Performing with the lions is a man referred to as the spirit of the Earth, who is a companion to the lions.

They were a hit with students and staff! Thank you! See photos on our website.
