Lincoln Pius X High School has an opening for an administrative assistant in the front office. Successful applicants will be welcoming, service-oriented people who will contribute to the effective operations of the school through a wide variety of tasks. This full time position includes working with databases, calendars, schedules, and clerical duties for the Principal and Chief Administrative Officer.
Essential Job Functions
• Greet guests and direct them to the appropriate school personnel.
• Compile necessary information from the Student Information System (SIS) to support the work of administration and staff, employing Excel as needed.
• Communicate with parents and students regarding attendance.
• Perform clerical duties for other administrators, as requested. This may include developing reports, filing information, creating mailings, and typing correspondence.
• In cooperation with other administrative assistants, make copies/scan and send documents as needed for administration and staff members.
• File records of teachers, as needed.
• Make and receive calls, take messages, and direct calls.
• Communicate effectively and respond to messages in a timely manner.
• Help to coordinate communication between administration, staff and students.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• High School diploma
• Prior office experience preferred, especially in an educational office work setting.
