Tuition at Pius X High School

Pius X High School tuition/fees, with scholarships, average 45% of the $6,798 actual cost per student. Thanks to support from local parishes, Pius X Foundation, and fundraising, every Catholic student receives a substantial tuition subsidy scholarship (covering the difference between actual cost and tuition/fees).

How tuition is paid for a Catholic high school education

Parish members support the students and families of Pius X through tithing.

Parents, students, alums and stewards invest in our school and Catholic Education.

Families pay a highly discounted tuition, yet students still receive a high-value education.

UNIFORM DAYS graphicDuring the summer, Pius X hosts a uniform try-and-buy event. Student can try on parts of the uniform to determine what sizes are needed, then place their order through Dennis Uniform. This event includes trying on and ordering new uniforms, used uniforms, and Pius X gear sold by the Booster Club. Additional dates for new uniforms are: Tuesday, July 12, 9-11am; Thursday, July 14, 5-7pm; Tuesday, July 19, 9-11am; Thursday, July 21, 5-7pm; Wed., August 3, 8:30am-3pm (Student schedule and locker pick-up day). MATH: If you are in the Lincoln Catholic grade schools, your current math teacher has recommended what math course(s) is best for you. That course will automatically appear on your PowerSchool course request page. You will take the Pius Math Placement Exam (MPE) around Holy Week. The results of the MPE could change this pre-registered math course based on the score of the exam. If your placement course changes, we will inform you and make the changes.

If you are NOT in a Lincoln Catholic grade school, you may contact the Pius Counseling Center (402-488-0931 or email to take the math placement test after May 1, 2022.

Lunch is divided into four sections, A-B-C-D. Students will be in class for two of those, eat lunch during one and have study time during the other. EXAMPLE: A student who has ‘B lunch’ will have 20+ minutes to study in their fifth period classroom, then eat lunch in the commons, then have their fifth-period class.

Incoming students interested in applying for Student Council can learn on the student council webpage.

Some choir groups are classes during the school day, and some are activities. AcaFellas and AcaBellas are our men’s and women’s acapella/barbershop choirs/clubs that also rehearse after school and once a week during lunch. Barbershop Club takes place Fridays during study halls (5th period).
