Distinguished Steward

A good steward is one who receives God’s gifts gratefully, cherishes those gifts, shares them with others and returns a portion to the Lord. The recipient(s) are honored at our Friends of Pius X Appreciation Reception each August.

Distinguished Stewards are individuals who:

  • Have demonstrated exemplary service to Pius X High School
  • Have been a role model within their community
  • Are leaders in fulling our mission to “Restore All things in Christ”
  • Share their gifts of time, talent & treasure with Pius X.

Outstanding Alumni

Pius X graduates are leaders in their communities in Lincoln and throughout the state and country. The Outstanding Alumni award recognizes those graduates for their personal and professional accomplishments, and who:

  • Are leading a life of leadership and service, and are outstanding examples of Catholic values, virtues and ideals;
  • Are leaders in fulfilling our mission to “Restore All Things in Christ”;
  • Have graduated from Pius X at least 10 years ago;
  • Are recognized on a local, state or national level in their field; and
  • Have been awarded for contributions in their profession.

Athletic Hall of Fame

The athletic Hall of Fame was established in 2014 to honor the rich tradition and community dedication to Pius X’s athletic programs. The Thunderbolts first began their athletic competitions in 1956 (football), and became the first school in Lincoln to offer female athletics beginning in 1970 (golf).

The selection committee only selects candidates that have been nominated. If you believe a candidate is worthy of induction, please ensure they have been nominated by completing the nomination form.
