Speech team takes second at national qualifying event
The speech team had what may be its most successful showing at the National Speech and Debate Association qualifying tournament last Saturday at Millard North.
The team finished tied for second, had six students break to finals, with two qualifying and two more named first alternates for the NSDA National Tournament this June in Dallas.

The team will compete at the district competition this Saturday at Lincoln Southwest High School.
