The boys cross country team has qualified for the national championships, the first ever team to do so in Nebraska high school history!
After winning a state title late last month, the team finished second at Sunday’s NXR Heartland Regional Championships in South Dakota. The team plans to compete in early December at the national NIKE competition in Eugene, Ore.
David Krier finished in 14th place overall to lead the Thunderbolts. Other runners included Joe Majerus (23), Sam Schlautman (69), Lucas Schlautman (96), Joe Norman, Henry Vrooman and Noah Zach. The team finished second out of 34 teams.
