A ‘quiz’ at our first all school assembly

Our all school assembly yesterday featured a fun quiz about out patron saint, Pope Pius X. (We also met our new staff and had class meetings.)

CAO Jeremy Ekeler explained why we say ‘the Tenth’ and not just ‘x’, and we learned/re-learned that Pope Pius X was born Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto in 1835 in Italy, and was named a saint in 1954. His motto, ‘Restore All Things in Christ,’ serves as our school’s vision. It is truly part of our identity!

Our first All School Mass is tomorrow, the Feast Day of Saint Pius X!
