Planes, lift and learning with computers
Teacher Jim Bertrand has students explore the impact of drag and lift and wings and weight using a computer simulation in his Physical Science class.
Freshman Maggie Milburn: “So today we are working with plane speed and seeing how lift and drag kind of affects it and how weight kind of pulls you down. It really helps with understanding the concepts and actually physically seeing what we are learning.”
