I am the proud mom of seven great kids, five of whom are Pius graduates. I have been in education in some form for over thirty years in a variety of settings from elementary through college. I love teaching, and teaching Pre-Calc and AP Calculus are two of my favorite subjects to teach. I enjoy cooking, entertaining, having friendships and staying connected with people, biking, taking walks, and spending time with my kids. I converted to become Catholic when I was 21, and it has been the best decision I have ever made.

Why I Teach

I wanted to be an Obstretician until I was a junior in high school and realized that I would rarely be home if I was a doctor. I started helping other students at that time and realized that I was pretty good at explaining things to them. Being a teacher could bring me joy as well as allow me a career where I could be available to my family. I also have always wanted to help people. I love being able to have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students
