Why I Teach

I teach because I’ve seen the damage caused by poor philosophy: a compartmentalized worldview, lost and bitter self-reflection, cynicism and apathy; and if I can, even in some small part, be an instrument of grace in the lives of those for whom we ought to have the most care, the hurt, the lost, the marginalized, then I hope to live up to the call. And my place, as I understand it now, is with the young men and women at Pius X.
