What is/was your favorite class at Pius X, and why?

Physics with Mr. Cox. Every day I looked forward to that class because I knew Mr. Cox would have some new contraption or experiment to show us. Seeing the physics concepts in real life made doing the problems on paper so much easier.

How has your faith impacted your education, or how has your education impacted your faith?

The Catholic education experience at Pius has been a wonderful blessing in my life. My relationship with God has grown these last four years, and much of that is due to the constant exposure of Christ at Pius. The priests teaching Theology, the retreats, the chapel door always being open, the list goes on, but I can definitively say that God is present in the hallways of the school.

What are you most proud of about your time at Pius X?

Choosing to give a talk at an Advent service last fall. That was one of the most nerve-wracking things I’ve ever done, but once I got up and started talking, all of the anxiety went away.

Where are your plans after high school (college, military, job, etc.)? What do you plan to study?

I will be attending Benedictine College and majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
