Parents: Michelle and Dennis Kruse
School(s) attended K-8: Homeschooled k-5, North American Martyrs 6-8
Favorite place on campus: I enjoyed being in the weight room at Pius. There was a strong brotherhood between the athletes who lifted in there. We were all willing to lend a hand to spot each other or push each other to lift more weight or pump out more reps.
Activities at Pius X: Football, Track, Community service club

What is/was your favorite class at Pius X, and why?

My favorite class has been Spanish. All four years have been equally fun. Each day the teachers are excited and ready to help us learn. They are amazing people who want you to succeed as much you do.

How has your faith impacted your education, or how has your education impacted your faith?

My faith has been impacted greatly mostly by the students I learn with. We help each other grow in our faith and hold each other accountable in terms of integrity. Over the past four years I have learned how to bring God into every activity of my life and it has given me a better life.

What are you most proud of about your time at Pius X?

My most proud moment has been starting the Community Service Club. It was a nice feeling to be able to share my love for my community with others and help them grow in wanting to better the world.

Where are your plans after high school (college, military, job, etc.)? What do you plan to study?

After high school I am going to basic and AIT for the Army In Fort Benning, Georgia. After I come home I will attend UNL Spring 2020 to study Environmental Studies.
