Favorite place on campus: I enjoyed being in the chapel because it was a place entirely different from every other place in the building. It was where I found the most peace and quiet; it was a good place to just regroup and recharge for whatever was next! My other favorite place was wherever my friends were at because when you are in the company of friends, the location doesn’t matter, everywhere is great!
What is/was your favorite class at Pius X, and why?
My favorite class was Philosophy 101 this year, taught by Mr. Katalenich. It had a vastly different set-up from any other class I have taken. It really encouraged me to expand my way of thinking, to think of questions in ways I have never been challenged to before!
How has your faith impacted your education, or how has your education impacted your faith?
My faith life and education ran parallel to each other throughout high school. Both involved a great amount of learning, but my faith served as my anchor. It was also a great way to connect with other people who also want to grow in their faith, such as through Campus Ministry, as well as being able to share the faith through retreats, Restore, and my own personal testimony.
What are you most proud of about your time at Pius X?
I am most proud of the many great relationships that I have made, both with students and teachers.
Where are your plans after high school (college, military, job, etc.)? What do you plan to study?
After high school I plan on attending UNL for a degree in business.
