Favorite place on campus: I enjoyed being in the library because it is a good place to get homework done and read a book. Mrs. Willis is welcoming and always made the library feel cozy and inviting.

What is/was your favorite class at Pius X, and why?
My favorite class is French with Madame Mills because she makes French fun and easy to learn! I love learning about French culture and it’s inspired me to pursue studying abroad in college.
How has your faith impacted your education, or how has your education impacted your faith?
During my time at Pius I have grown in my relationship with Jesus through retreats, chapel visits, and my discipleship group. I would not have been able to put up with stress from school if I didn’t turn to Jesus and the sacraments. The Theology classes taught me a lot about my faith and how to stand up for it in college. The best retreat I’ve been on was SEEK22, which made me excited to live my faith throughout college and the rest of my life.
What are you most proud of about your time at Pius X?
I am proud of how I’ve grown as a person and of all the memories I’ve made. I pushed myself to get involved and to be diligent in my studies and I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished because of that.
Where are your plans after high school (college, military, job, etc.)? What do you plan to study?
I’ll be studying Nutrition, Exercise, and Health Science at UNL with the hopes of becoming a Dietitian.
