Fall play leads to laughs in the LPAC

October 9 was the opening night of this year’s fall play, Life of the Party.

The play originated as a mid-20th century comedy. The story is about the Hughes, a family that has recently moved to a new city.

The cast of the Hughes family is as follows: David Krueger as Mr. Jesse Hughes, Laura Konz as Mrs. Harriet Hughes, Meredith Gamet as Mildred Hughes, Aaron Vrbka as Teddy Hughes, Rosie Lang as Jean Hughes, and Julia McInerney as Amy Hughes.

Other important characters who are not a part of the Hughes family are: Stephen Martinez as Mike Tisdale, Payton Andersen as Officer Walter Lipscomb, Ian Mitchell as Snazzy Mitchell, Nik Barger as Tommy King, Emma Ogea as Ruth Coates, Rachel Heyne as Mrs. Victoria Coates, Colleen O’Gara as Dottie Kixmiller, Brooklyn Guess as MaryRosalie Vogulhut, Megan Neal as Hope Shuttleworth, Maria Rutledge as Sally Frazier, and Aden Miller as Charles Collier.

The remaining shows are Saturday, October 12 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 13 at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets are $7 for students and $8 for adults. You can also call the main office at 488-0931 to reserve tickets.
