Final exams moved to Monday and Tuesday, no school Wednesday, Dec. 22

With December starting, it is beginning to be time for finals.

“The bishop has granted all schools in our diocese a bishop’s day off on December 22,” principal Terry Kathol said. “After considering it we decided to take the day off to let older students spend time with their families instead of stressing about finals.”

Finals will now be held on just Monday, December 20 and Tuesday, December 21 instead of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

“I think having the day off is a good thing, I like it, I can just study things altogether and get done with finals sooner,” junior Christiona Koenig said.

Most students had two general reactions to the change.

“I would rather have school that day,” anonymous said. “It is nice having the day off, but we will have more finals in the other two days.”

While there were two reactions, more students like having the day off as to not.

“I really like having the day off because it will cause me time to mentally cool down after the two days,” junior Ayden Colombi said.

Many students said how they have already prepared for finals even though it is still a month away.
