Instrumental Music
Orchestra
Orchestra is open to students of various skill levels and provides an opportunity to perform a wide range of music. Orchestra is a class that meets during the fall and spring semester, and students are encouraged to sign-up for both semesters.
Concert Band
During the second semester, Concert Band and Symphonic Band meet during the school day. Concert Band, open to all students, meets during first period, while Symphonic Band, an auditioned ensemble, meets during second period.
Jazz Band
Jazz Band is an auditioned ensemble that meets before school beginning in November. Auditions take place during the first quarter, and students should contact Mr. Wilhelm for audition materials and information.
Marching Band
Marching Band is offered during the first semester and serves as a marching ensemble during the first quarter and a concert ensemble during the second quarter. The class meets during first period, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. on Mondays throughout the marching season, which typically concludes at the end of October.
Pep Band
Pep Band is composed of students enrolled in band and performs at basketball games, volleyball games, and occasionally at other school events.
