Spectrum: The Video Series (2017-18)

The Opener

Spectrum Show Choir blends music, singing, dancing, choreography and a passion to share a story. With dozens of students, hundreds of rehearsals and an immeasurable amount of energy, creating and performing the show is quite the accomplishment.

To continually be among the best show choirs in the state and region is another feat unto itself. And yet, it comes down to sharing a message with those around you.

The Talents

Students come to show choir with a wide variety in their backgrounds. Some of danced since they were little, some played sports, some of been seriously singing for just a few years. But with dedicated practice time and coaching – and adrenaline(!) – it all comes together for an entertaining show.

The Show

Who could blame the performers if the show would get stale? However, these students and coaches will not let it happen. Fine-tuning well rehearsed moves, adding barely noticeable changes, and a desire to be the best version of themselves makes this group proactive in keeping the show fresh.

The Message

The message of the show is going to resonate with everyone who watches or performs. The students can build their confidence that might waver throughout high school, and the viewers leave the show having witnessed a sense of purpose they can add to their own lives.
