Assistant Coach
Coach Nolan DeWispelare played two years of collegiate tennis at Doane University before beginning his coaching career at Pius X. Now in his 13th season as head coach (after two years as an assistant), he has led the program to consistent success, highlighted by the 2018 and 2019 Class A State Championship and a 2025 Class B State Runner-Up finish. Under his leadership, Pius has produced multiple individual state champions and medalists. Coach DeWispelare has also been recognized with several coaching honors, including Nebraska Coaches Association Tennis Coach of the Year (2014), KFOR Ralph Beechner Coach of the Year (2017), and NFHS Nebraska Girls Tennis Coach of the Year (2021).
