Mapping out the key spots in the plot of a classic book

Creating a map based on Harper Lee’s ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ is not only a creative outlet for English II students, it’s also a chance to use context clues throughout the book to better understand the setting of the classic.

Teacher Nolan DeWispelare said, “I like this project because it forces students to think about what they’ve read and put that reading into context and put it on the page, and it gives them a little bit of creativity with it, too.”
