Blood-type lab in A&P class emphasizes real-world techniques

Students were ‘positively’ engaging with this A&P lab!

Jenna Steenson’s Anatomy & Physiology class recently completed a hands‑on blood typing lab to determine their blood type using diagnostic serums.

Working with School Nurse Holly Steinbach, proper protective equipment, and lab protocols, the students identified their blood groups while practicing real-world biomedical techniques.

It was a fun and engaging way to connect classroom learning with practical lab skills!
