Dissection lab shows connectivity of tendons and motion

A chicken foot dissection lab helped Anatomy students explore how muscles, tendons, ligaments and bones coordinate to create movement. This model allows students to see real connective tissues and observe how pulling on specific tendons produces motion at the joints.

The activity, taught by Jenna Steenson, ties directly to their current unit on support & motion and gives students a hands-on look at structure and function working together.
