Pius X High School uses an online tracking and reporting system for all service hours called Mobile Serve. With Mobile Serve, we will eliminate paper forms and signatures, using an entirely digital verification system. All service information will be centralized on this website and students will be able to enter service hours online or via a mobile app at any time, check for volunteer opportunities and sign up for them, receive reminders about upcoming opportunities, and print a service hour log that can be used for college applications.

Getting Started

How to download the app

1. Go to the App Store or Google Play.
2. Search “MobileServe.”
3. Tap the Get or Install button next to MobileServe App.

How to create your account

1. Open the app or go to app.mobileserve.com & select Sign Up.
2. Enter your name, email address, and create a password.
3. Enter the 6 digit code for Pius X Class of 2021: 37DEEB
4. Click Join when PXHS: Class of 2021 appears.
5. Add a parent email and your student ID number. This is MANDATORY.
6. Add an optional photo to your profile or skip.

How to Log Hours

• On the Home page, click “LOG YOUR HOURS”.
• Click “ENTER SERVICE HOURS & LOCATIONS”.
• Enter the date of service.
  • If you volunteered at the same service agency or organization on multiple dates you only need to submit one entry per quarter. Enter your first service date where it says “RECORD YOUR HOURS”. Add the remaining dates to the “TELL YOUR STORY” text box. (For example, if you sorted donations at CSS every Monday you only need to submit one entry with the total number of hours completed.)
• Enter the total number of service hours completed.
• Enter the agency or organization name you volunteered at where it says “SERVICE ORG” (i.e. Pius X High School or Catholic Social Services). This should NOT be an individual’s name
• You must check the box “PXHS: Class of 2020” to apply the hours to your Senior Service Goal.
• You must choose a “CATEGORY”.
  • “Off Campus” is any service done outside of Pius X (i.e. CSS, Bright Lights, St. John’s Church, etc.).
  • “On Campus” is any service that is completed at or through Pius X (i.e. grading papers, BOLT).
• Enter a brief project description where it says “TELL YOUR STORY”. Include the work or task completed. The description should be 2-3 sentences.
  • Your project supervisor will see this and may need specific details to identify the hours you have completed (i.e. Graded papers, cleaned up in the classroom, sorted donations).
  • If you are submitting hours for multiple dates, please include those date in your description (i.e. This project was completed on 3/15, 3/19, and 3/24).
• Verification:
  • A “SUPERVISOR NAME” and “SUPERVISOR EMAIL” must be entered. This is mandatory.
    • This must be the email address for the direct supervisor for/with whom you worked. This person will receive an email to verify your attendance and service time. This person cannot be your parent.
    • Please let the supervisor know that he/she should expect an email from Mobile Serve and follow up, as needed.
  • If your supervisor does not have an email address, two forms of verification are required using the mobile app: “GEO-VERIFY” and “GET SIGNATURE”. You must use these at the service site.
  • If you do not have access to the mobile app and your supervisor does not have an email address, reach out to the Campus Minister immediately for other verification options.
• When everything is filled out click “SUBMIT HOURS”.
• On the following page you must click “DONE”. (There is an option to submit a photo but this is not required.)
• After receiving verification from your supervisor, the Campus Minister will have access to approving your hours\

How to Find Current Opportunities on Mobile Serve

• From the dashboard, select “EVENTS.”
• Events posted by the Campus Minister will be listed under “INVITATIONS”.
• If you click “DISCOVER” you can find local volunteer opportunities by typing in “Lincoln, NE” where it says “CITY”. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THE EVENT YOU CHOOSE IS FOR A PRE-APPROVED AGENCY OR ORGANIZATION.
• Some events may allow you to sign-up through Mobile Serve while others will require you to contact the event coordinator directly to confirm your sign-up.
• Once a service project is completed, you MUST log your hours to receive verification from your supervisor and approval from the Campus Minister.
