Parents: Jeff Sharp and Sara Sharp
School(s) attended K-8: Blessed Sacrament and St. Peter
Favorite place on campus: I enjoy spending time outside! It’s always nice to get some fresh air, and my theology off period is the perfect time to be outside with friends. I also enjoy spending time in the library with my friends. I appreciate that my school has a quiet place that I can be productive while also being with my friends.
Activities at Pius X: Dive, track, cheer, tennis, pro-life club, campus ministry, National Honor Society, Spanish club, discipleship
What is/was your favorite class at Pius X, and why? My favorite class in high school is AP Calculus PACE. While this class is rigorous and challenging, I am grateful that I get to spend time with one of my best friends. We have made countless inside jokes and memories through this class, and it’s always fun to send each other funny calculus videos on instagram. While all of the studying and effort put into this class can be draining, the community has been a such a blessing!
How has your faith journey evolved during your time at our school? Are there particular experiences or programs that have significantly impacted your spiritual growth? My Faith journey has grown so much over high school! Events that had significant impact of my spiritual growth included retreats and discipleship. Discipleship is an amazing opportunity that allowed me to strengthen my Faith while being in community. Steubenville and TEC are two retreats that I encourage everyone to go on! I learned so much about the Lords love for me, while also having so much fun with my closest friends.
What are you most proud of about your time at Pius X? I am most proud of my journey with Christ. Over my four years at Pius X, Jesus has become my best friend! He has gave me an amazing friend group, and I am forever grateful that I got to experience high school with them. These past four years I have learned to love the Faith, and because my Faith is the most important part of my life, that is what I am most proud of.
Where are your plans after high school (college, military, job, etc.)? What do you plan to study? I plan to pursue radiation technology at SCC! This summer I will be certified as a CNA, and I will plan to work as a CNA until I graduate college and begin working as a radiation technician.
