Favorite place on campus: I enjoy being in the Campus Ministry office because it’s a warm and welcoming place where I can talk to people and/or get some homework done. I also enjoy being in the library for similar reasons. It’s a place where I can go to relax in a calm and quiet atmosphere.

What is/was your favorite class at Pius X, and why? My favorite class in high school was Creative Writing class. This is because I love to write and edit stories. It was also so fun and interesting to see the different ways everyone interpreted each assignment.
How has your faith journey evolved during your time at our school? Are there particular experiences or programs that have significantly impacted your spiritual growth? My faith life definitely evolved and became stronger during my time at Pius. Something I really appreciate is time for Mass/Adoration/Confession built into the Theology curriculum and that they are available before, during, and after school. I can go to the chapel whenever I want and sit with God and pray in silence. The Campus Ministry staff have also been very influential in developing my faith life. Their passion and love for Christ shows in their love and patience for the students at Pius. I also really love the retreats. I love being able to put my phone and other distractions away and spend a weekend entirely devoted to Jesus. These retreats give me an opportunity to sit down, reflect on my life, and truly talk with God.
What are you most proud of about your time at Pius X? I am most proud of getting involved with the clubs/organizations I did. I was able to help out in small ways and meet a variety of wonderful people. These people challenged and encouraged me to grow in my academics, faith, and personal life.
Where are your plans after high school (college, military, job, etc.)? What do you plan to study? My plans for after high school is to attend UNL and study chiropractics and Spanish.
