The 2025 Distinguished Stewardship Award is presented to Steve ’86 and Tricia Burt in recognition of their extraordinary generosity in sharing their time, talent, and treasure with Pius X Catholic High School.
Steve Burt, a 1986 Pius X alumnus, graduated from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota with degrees in theology and political science. He earned his JD from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1994. Steve is a Managing Director and Financial Advisor at RBC Wealth Management. Tricia Burt has worked in marketing and consulting and currently owns a Scooters Coffee franchise in Oklahoma. Tricia has participated as a Teammates mentor at Pius X for three years.
Steve and Tricia have been involved in the Forward in Faith and Excellence Campaign Steering Committee. Steve served on the Pius X Board of Advisors from 2006-2019, and Tricia volunteered on the Stakeholders/Communications Focus Group for strategic planning. Additionally, Steve and Tricia were Major Gift Phase Chairpersons for A Tradition of Faith Campaign for Pius X High School in 2006. They volunteered for the Phon-a-thon for many years. The Burts have served on the B.O.L.T. Committee, Booster Club, and have financially supported Pius X for 32 consecutive years.
Steve and Tricia have four children who have graduated from Pius X: Abigail (’12), Jack (’10), Joseph (’18), and Anna (’21). They have six grandchildren and counting.
