About
Trevor Johnson graduated from Pius X in 2010. He previously coached men’s basketball at Buena Vista University (Iowa), where he also served as an Assistant Director of Athletic Performance since 2021, and Assistant Director of Athletics since 2023. In 2020, he named to the Top 30 Under 30 list of coaches by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. Prior to that, he was an assistant coach for men’s basketball at Johns Hopkins University, and previously served in the same role at his alma mater, Nebraska Wesleyan University, where he was a member of the 2018 Division III National Championship team. He served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for three sports at Nebraska Wesleyan, and was also an Assistant to the Athletic Director/Facilities Director in 2015-16. As a college athlete, Johnson was a four-year starter for the Nebraska Wesleyan men’s basketball team, earning First-Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention NAIA All-American honors his senior year. He scored over 1,000 career points and was a two-time Academic All-American, among other honors. He graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan in 2014 with a degree in Biology, and earned his Masters Degree in Management from Doane University in 2017.
