From Jan. 8-16, Lincoln schools called four snow days and only had two days of classes. In Nebraska, snow days in January are far from uncommon, but having so many in such a short time frame is a new experience for our schools.

The Writing Resource Center was started to help students revise their essays. “The WRC began several years ago as a place for students to get extra help with writing,” sponsor Jen Sander said.
The Pius swim and dive teams have been preparing for their 2023-2024 season. The teams consist of 23 JV swimmers, 25 varsity swimmers and eight divers.

The Pius X theatre department, Pius Players, has been working hard to prepare for their opening night of their production “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” While most people only get to see the show on stage, there is so much more going on behind the scenes.
