Favorite place on campus: I enjoyed being in the campus ministry room. Everyone always makes you feel so welcome in there and it’s always a great spot to go to talk to people or the ministers especially if you have any questions.
Activities at Pius X: campus ministry
What is/was your favorite class at Pius X, and why? My favorite class at Pius X was my freshman year Spanish class because it was such a big class filled with so many of my friends and I really enjoyed it. I’ve also enjoyed my senior year advanced math class because of Mrs. Norman. She has made math enjoyable for me this year and is such an amazing teacher that is always there to help.
How has your faith journey evolved during your time at our school? Are there particular experiences or programs that have significantly impacted your spiritual growth? I joined Campus Ministry and a discipleship group in my senior year which has helped my faith grow significantly. The ministers at Pius and the people in my senior class are always there to talk about the faith and it has helped so much seeing everyone grow together and know that I’m not in this journey alone. There is so much faith and love for God at Pius that helps me want grow in my faith everyday.
What are you most proud of about your time at Pius X? I am most proud of how I improved from freshman year to now. The people at Pius have really helped and I’m proud of the people I have chose to surround myself by and the amazing friendships I have made the last 4 years.
Where are your plans after high school (college, military, job, etc.)? What do you plan to study? My plan is to attend Bryan College of Health Sciences and pursue a career in nursing and possibly move into doing sonography to become an ultrasound technician!
