Parents: Todd and Laura Minchow
School(s) attended K-8: St. Teresa’s
Favorite place on campus: I enjoyed being in the music room. That’s where I spent a lot of my time throughout high school, hanging out with my friends, talking, doing homework, learning something for choir or show choir, or helping teach others. It’s a place I’ve made a lot of good memories over the last few years.
Activities at Pius X: Baseball, wrestling, marching band, concert band, choir, barbershop club, acafellas, show choir, bel canto, NHS, theater.
What is/was your favorite class at Pius X, and why? My favorite class was advanced chemistry. It’s a class that I was always consistently excited for and looked forward to going to. I found the lessons interesting and the labs were always very fun and interesting to perform.
How has your faith journey evolved during your time at our school? Are there particular experiences or programs that have significantly impacted your spiritual growth? Over the last four years my faith has become a very important thing to me. I’m surrounded by friends who keep Christ the center, and we all work to help each other stay on the right path. From being apart of a fellowship group, to going to restore, to getting a group of friends and going to SEEK in Utah. Finally, all the things I have learned throughout the years through the theology classes offered at Pius X. My faith is now something I’m not afraid to express in public.
What are you most proud of about your time at Pius X? I’m most proud of the person I’ve become over the last four years. I’ve been able to make good, strong relationships with lots of people who have helped to shape my life in a very positive way. I feel a lot more confident in what I do and feel that I have grown to be a strong leader.
Where are your plans after high school (college, military, job, etc.)? What do you plan to study? I will be attending UNL where I will be studying Chemistry.
