New club offers different option to practice Spanish

Students have another opportunity to improve their Spanish skills through a new club. “Amigos Globales started with a senior, Jesus Yanez, and his aunt in Mexico,” Hayes said. “His aunt emailed to collaborate for a pen pal club, so the students can write in Spanish and English, and thanks to that, both sides can improve.”

Baking club makes pies

The baking club had their second meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 13. They made pumpkin pies. The club members made pie dough which was then filled with a pumpkin filling.
