English II students will study literary elements through an examination of short stories, poetry, non-fiction, and drama. To encourage diversified reading and student choice, students will participate in literature circles. In addition to multiple writing prompts and experiences, students will also practice and further develop their writing skills through the completion of a personal experience narrative and research paper.
