Pius X will be hosting a career fair for current students on Tuesday, March 29.

“There will be 32 local business owners and employees coming to talk to the kids,” skilled and technical sciences teacher Don McKee said. “They will be talking to the kids about career options right after high school and what they look for in hiring.”

The fair will be held in the New Gym periods 1-4 next Tuesday.

All woodshop and industrial arts classes will be going, but any student wanting to come is permitted.

“The fair is aimed towards my students, but anyone who is interested is more than welcome to attend,” McKee said.

Any students who would like to come can ask their respective teachers to attend.

The fair will be similar to a gallery walk by, with students walking and stopping by businesses when interested.

“I think the fair is a great opportunity for those students who plan on working head-on after high school,” senior Joseph Heimbrecht said.
