Senior/Parent Mass and Breakfast – Monday, May 13. Mass begins at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church (4500 Duxhall Dr.). The breakfast will be held at Embassy Suites Ballroom (1040 P Street) immediately after Mass. Students do not report to school on this day.
Senior Service
Pius X policy requires all seniors to complete 36 service hours. All service hours must be complete by May 3rd. Students who do not submit all 36 hours by May 5th will not be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony and will not receive a diploma until all hours are completed. Student Check-Out Sheet
Seniors will be given a check-out sheet during the final week of classes. This form must be completed and returned at graduation practice on May 15th following 4th period exams. All tuition, fees, books, equipment, uniforms, lunch account, etc. must be paid before the sheet will be signed.
Senior School Meal Balances
Senior lunch accounts with funds remaining after graduation will be applied to siblings, if possible. Those accounts with balances over $10 will be refunded to the family in June.
Graduation Survey
Seniors MUST complete the Graduation Survey in Naviance before receiving their caps and gowns on May 15th. The directions to access the survey are in the weekly senior parent email.
Graduation Ceremony
Seniors need to arrive at the Lied Center by 12:45 p.m. and enter through the Johnny Carson Theatre entrance. The ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m.
Dress Code
The dress code requirements for graduation is included in the weekly senior parent email. Students not adhering to the dress policy will not be able to participate in the ceremony. If you/your student needs assistance with gration attire, please contact Mrs. Pick at shelly.pick@pius.net. We are happy to assist.
After Graduation Party
The party will be held at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln Recreation Center on Sunday, May 19th starting at 10:30 p.m. and run until 3:00 a.m. All students who attend must have a signed waiver which was sent through an email to students and parents.
